Between 2022 and 2023 we worked on the restyling of the Bioenergy logo and more generally on the rebranding, optimization of the product range, and packaging design.
Bioenergy, born as an artisan laboratory for the processing of tofu, tempeh, and seitan, has grown over the years thanks to ever-increasing local and regional success. The need was to give a more coherent look to its image, which could reflect the quality of the products and underline creativity in recipes, as well as communicate the sustainability of an alternative choice to meat.
Our work has focused on communicating the brand’s values through a reliable aesthetic, which starts from craftsmanship to bring Bioenergy towards new commercial horizons, such as a distribution throughout Italy. We worked on a typographic logo, in which the dot of the letter i becomes a small geometric leaf, which is then used for the shape of the window on the packaging. We then created a natural but impactful color palette, which helped us to divide the various product lines: Seitan, Tofu, Tempeh, and Hummus. A further division within each line is obtained by inverting the colors for “natural” and seasoned products. Everything is then finished with simple illustrations and a serif secondary font, to obtain a friendly and genuine feeling.
